Introduction

Dear Friends,

I have created this site with the sole purpose of facilitating all the relevant information required for day-to-day use of Central Government Employees. We all know that most of the information is available on the net through relevant websites of each Ministry/Department and some other websites are also there. However, what I had been trying for a long time was to have all information at one place and to make retrieval of desired information as quick as possible. For instance, to find out the name and telephone number of an officer in a Ministry, I have to open the website of that ministry and then try to find out organisational structure, or officers' telephone list, if available. Most of the time, either it was not readily available or was not complete. Therefore, I have created this site and tried to put all such information from the relevant websites, but the work is still incomplete. I would request you all to inform me through your comments(You can also give anonymous comments) the relevant websites/urls having the relevant information which I will include here in this site.

Secondly, other relevant Acts and Rules which are frequently required in all Ministries/Departments from time to time, are sometimes not available readily and I have published some of such Acts/Rules maintained by some Ministries like DOPT, Labour, Finance etc. Similarly, other relevant informatin like educational loan schemes in different banks has been published here, and it will be our endeavour to place relevant information from time to time as and when available. Once we have most of the required information at one place on the net, it will certainly be very useful for everyone and one will not be dependable on the availability of hard copies of relevant Acts etc. Also, one can easily take out the print of relevant portion of the required document and put up on the file, instead of placing the whole copy of the document on the file. Your suggestions and inputs are welcome.
